Guidelines. On how to edit shit properly. Similar to Wikipedia's best practices or whatever that's called.

  • Don't create redirects for every capitalization, spelling and plural variation of a word. Use the vertical pipe: | Example: [[Nigra|nigras]] produces nigras which is the same functional result as adding a new redirect but doesn't require extra pages.
  • Make a link out of only the first occurrence of a word in an article. Do not make a link out of every single occurrence!
  • Use categories and subcategories. You can see a listing here: Special:Categories. Use subcategories when possible, but if in doubt place it in a top category and it can be placed in a subcategory later if needed.
  • Upload files in PNG format when possible. Large areas of single colors such as Habbo screenshots or CG drawings will compress well in this format. Photographs, pencil sketches and other images with high levels of detail and color variations are best in JPEG.
  • With rare exceptions any new article created should be referenced in the Glossary. Place it alphabetically in the list.
