Live help is part of a MOD's arsenal. If a habbofag is ever in trouble, they may be smart enough to use the Live Help Tool. To get the the tool, go to the bottom-right hand corner of the client and click the blue question mark. The choose the second bullet. After this, a message box will come up. This is where you can write your problem. On big raids, its good to type in things like, "So MODs, I heard you are racist against my kind. What with all this?"

"Live Help" is basically means "Moderator". Nowadays, a MOD will ban you if it sees you /b/locking and what not, but sometimes, especially if the MOD is a new one, they will just send you a message that is titled "Live Help". This message will, most of the time, be an incomplete sentence or have bad grammar. An example of this is when you get a message that says "blocking". It doesn't tell you anything about 'blocking', it just states "blocking". These are the kinds of stuff you may run into in your quest against AIDS, so pop right back into the room and speak out against it if the MOD in the room is still present.

What Happens When You Use Live Help

When anyone uses Live Help, a message probably alerts the MOD on duty at the time. Sometimes, the MOD will be too lazy to look at it, and they'll just ignore it. However, if they do look at your message, they might respond:

  • If your message was "Unacceptable" (which pretty much everything), then they might ban you.
  • If your message was for help, then they might say something like "Idiot, don't use the Help Tool. We don't care 'bout your pathetic problems", or they might actually try to fix the problem (very rare).

Sincerio:

Ever wonder how you get banned when absolutely no MODs or Staff are in the room that you are blocking?
This is how that can happen:

Imagine you are a habbofag. You see some mean black "noobs" blocking your precious pool. What do you do? You would usually shout:
"moooooooooooove niger", but today, you are going to try to use the Help Tool. So, you alert a MOD by saying:
"HALP: Some mean nigrs are blcking the dor! Plz ban them hahaha!"

This time, the MOD wasn't sleeping on his keyboard, so he actually responds to you; He asks you:
"What is the nigger's name?"

You, the habbofag, type the name of the supposed blocker.

The MOD looks at the name and tracks down the user on their database. Now, they know who the blocker is and they can choose to ban the username, even if they never entered the room that the supposed blocker is in.

This is one way MODs can ban you without actually going into the room you are at.
The more experienced MODs use this a lot to deal with us.

As of right now, there is no way to prevent this or know that it is coming, but if you do get banned, you can also fix it. See: Account Ban
